16. In the Beginning

shaun 7

In the beginning I had to live by the saying, “Fake it until you make it.”

With education, and due diligence I was able to begin to retrain my mind and I am happy to say that I have nearly arrived. When negative thoughts invade my brain space, I quickly change them to something more positive.
Now, I am thinking more this way…

I don’t want, I give

I don’t need, I have

I don’t hope, I know

I don’t wonder, I believe

I don’t worry, I have faith

I don’t ask why, I trust

I don’t need company but find peace and wonder in the solitude.

I don’t pine for the future, I live for today.

Retraining the mind is not an overnight venture, and even when you are pretty well versed in the process, you will always have to be on the alert for the negative thought invasion! Be diligent each and every day and slowly but surely your whole world will change for the better. You will attract more positive people and situations into your life. Doors will open to you that had always been closed, and opportunity will present itself to you with no particular effort.

Daily, live in the space of gratitude for all of the gifts in your life, the large, the small and the often overlooked and mundane. Don’t just think of gratitude, feel gratefulness deep into your inner most being. It is from this sacred space that you will create a magical life full of love and peaceful serenity that is your given birthright. Life wants you to be happy while your Spirit lives in your physical body on this journey we call life. Don’t self-sabotage your own happiness with attention to the negative and other unhealthy thought processes.

I am living a life much farther down the road from the beginning, and it is from this space of awareness that I share these thoughts with you. Wherever these words travel and  whomever lives they touch, may they enter on a level of pure consciousness and settle into your being where they may be a catalyst to change.
