Even though the miles keep us apart,
Doesn’t mean I don’t carry you in my heart.
Open these cards and you will find,
On every occasion you’re on my mind.
Open up your birthday card,
While leaves still fall upon the yard.
Open up Thanksgiving next,
Celebrating gratitude is the very best!
Then to finish out the year,
Christmas comes to spread good cheer.
As the snowflakes fall and the sleigh bells ring,
Peace on Earth the Angels sing.
