I thought that when you went away that I was left alone,
But a gift bestowed upon me today reminds me that you will never really be gone.

I feel you when the sun warms my face,
And as the cool breeze of a fall day kisses my cheek.

I hear you there among the leaves as they dance lightly across the walkway,
And as each bird sings its enchanting song.

I see you in the scattered raindrops,
And in every tiny snowflake that falls from the sky.

Softly, quietly, gently you will be with me always.
