My place is a haven,
A safe place to rest my weary head.
Its exterior is placed in the city,
While its interior speaks of a tiny cottage by the lake.
Only beloved objects are contained within these walls,
Items that bring me comfort and serenity.
I will be prudent with whom I share my place,
Only those who will add to its peace,
Who will deposit pure energy into its space will gain entrance.
My place is more than just a home,
For gently held within,
Lives my delicate sanity.
