25. The Porch Swing

I sit upon my porch swing,
It rocks me to and fro,
And as it does it reminds me,
Of all the things I know.

I know that as the sun does set,
Low in the western sky,
That thoughts of gratitude will carry me,
Far and deep and wide.

It will bring me love and happiness,
The things I hold so dear,
As long as I keep clear my mind,
Free from anxiety and fear.

Come and sit beside me,
As we contemplate the day,
Together we will learn from Source,
How to be free from the fray.

Come sit upon the porch swing,
Let it rock you to and fro,
And as you seek to learn the way,
You’ll be guided where to go.
