There is a special place down by the waters edge,
Where the winding pathway guides me to the current easing by.
I sit on a grassy knoll contemplating the setting sun.
It is a quiet, serene place,
Where from it I hold a dear memory.
Houses on a hill gaze down upon the boats docked below,
As a family of geese gather nearby on their evening outing.
A bridge spans this water,
A constant reminder that all around me people are going about the business of living.
But for me,
At this moment in time,
Living is just to be,
In this special place.
