If my feet had the chance to talk,
Would they tell about the roads I’ve walked?
Would they lead you across from page to page,
Tell of my travels from age to age?
Would the steps I took show one and all,
The wisdom I’ve gained since I was small?
I think that they would have to say,
How strong I’ve been from day to day.
Looking down upon my feet,
I thank them for a life so sweet.
I see them for the gifts they bring,
They’ve helped me walk like the birds have wings.
So now look down upon your feet,
Take the chance today to meet.
Large or small with shoes or bare,
Just ask them and they will take you there.
