31. Lead Me

shaun 3

Lead me where I’m supposed to go,
Past the river to the open road,
Where I pray I’m meant to find,
Peace of body, soul and mind.

The changing seasons are like the tide,
They pull my muscles and make me cry.
The pressure around my fragile shell,
Makes me feel rigid and quite unwell.

I dream of living in a warmer place,
Where the rest of my life I can embrace.
I’m looking for signs of where to go,
Somewhere far from the cold and snow.

I don’t want to live half of my life,
Dreading the cold of the winter white.
I choose not to let the winds that blow,
Freeze my Energy with its frigid cold.

The presence of mind I’ve come to learn,
Is telling me soon I will know where to turn.
Get things in order make a list,
So that I may manifest my deepest wish.

It draws me there with unseen grace,
In my mind it’s the perfect place.
I know that my wishes are meant to be heard,
All I have to do is say the word.

Where you will lead me will be a surprise,
One that will be gifted to my grateful eyes.
Lead me where my I yearn to be,
A place where my Spirit can be warm and free.

If you guide me out of my comfort zone,
I know that you’ll gift me with the perfect home.
Thoughts of what I’m hoping to find,
Drift in and out of my carefree mind.

So take me far away from here,
To a new place that I will hold dear.
A home that calls me like a friend,
A new place where I can begin again.
