From the window seat I love to view the world.
It beckons me to curl up within its comforting surrounds.
Portrait framed the life outside, it cradles me like a mother’s arms.
The rain trickles down its panes like tears from heaven.
My hand presses against the glass.
Close to the wonders of the earth,
Yet safely protected within the window seat.
