They don’t want to share your life,
They only love you in the darkness,
It gives them a place to hide.
They only love you when you’re doing,
Exactly what they say,
What it is you might be needing,
Will have to wait for another day.
They only love you when you stay,
Exactly in your place,
Do just what is expected of you,
And you won’t be their disgrace.
